Jae's Story
Embracing the Quirky
I’ve never been one to fit into any molds, even though my background is very traditional. I grew up in a middle-class family in San Francisco and attended Catholic school for my entire primary and secondary education.
This education afforded me many opportunities to travel, both domestically and internationally. Before I turned 18, I had visited Oregon, Nevada, Washington D.C., Hawai’i, and Mexico.
In my late teens and early 20s, I realized I was part of the LGBTQ community. I lived a very adventurous life and continued to travel throughout the United States. I attended college in Oregon and traveled around the Pacific Northwest for several years.
Ultimately, I settled back into the SF Bay Area to be closer to family. I met my husband in Oakland and quickly realized we both shared the same wanderlust. We embraced our talents and are now focusing on living abroad. My interests have always been in the visual arts, and I have a knack for research stemming from my college days.
Now I help others travel abroad, and I make art that is reflective of my travels. To date, my passport includes Mexico, Finland, Estonia, France, the Netherlands, the UK, Guatemala, Thailand, and soon Vietnam. I’m excited to work with you and inspire you to fulfill your dreams, as I have.
Nik's Story
Embracing Uniqueness
I’m not your typical millennial, and my journey has definitely been anything but ordinary.
I'm a proud member of various minority communities—coming from poverty, a first-generation college graduate, and identifying with the LGBTQ+ spectrum as a Black Transgender guy.
Generational poverty shaped my upbringing, and I experienced homelessness more than once. From a young age, I quickly realized that education would be my ticket to a better future. However, throughout college and grad school, I found myself drowning in student loans. After a decade of financial struggle, I decided it was time for a major shift.
After several trials and errors, I transformed my life from a $16/hr gig worker to a six-figure success story in under five years. Through self-taught financial planning, I was able to pay off mountains of credit card debt. Now, my mission is to help people skip the struggle and fast-track their success.
My current life focus has now shifted to my love for travel. I’ve been able to travel extensively through diligent financial planning and strategic use of resources.
I've always loved helping others achieve their goals.
